Christopher Ashton Kutcher was born on February 7th in 1978. He lived in Ceder Rapids, Iowa, on a farm with his twin brother Michael, his older sister Tausha, and his parents, Larry and Diane. His parents divorced when Ashton was 13.

When Ashton was 15, his mother moved the family, and her soon to be husband, to Homestead, Iowa.

To get money, he used to work sweeping the floor of a cheerios factory, and at one stage he was so broke he donated blood for money!

He enrolled at the University of Iowa, studying biochemical engineering to try and help people with cardiomyopathy, which was the disease that his brother suffered from, where he had to undergo a heart transplant.

However, in 1997, an agent spotted him in a restaurant and suggested that he try out for a modelling competition. Ashton won the competition, and won a trip to New York, and that was the start of his modelling career.

In 1998, he decided to audition for a role in sitcom, That 70's Show,and landed the part of Michael Kelso.
